I have an HP laptop that has Debian on it, I would like to switch to Windows, but there is a password-protected BIOS problem in the way. I knew the password a few years ago, that's how I move from Windows to Linux in the first place.
I can't access the boot menu, can't change boot order. The laptop is not booting from CD/DVD or USB, and it's killing me.
Is it possible to install Windows on a laptop that has password-protected (legacy, not UEFI) BIOS?
