Additional Language in KDE

I just installed the KDE desktop environment and I want to install an additional language (Urdu) in Unity 2D. I was using it but in KDE it seems difficult to do so. I got to know about some change, something in etc/x11/xkb/symbols but when I tried I couldn't find such a directory. Please help me on how to write Urdu in KDE.

If you just want additional keyboard go to

System Settings → Input Devices → Keyboard Layouts

and add languages that you need

You can also display language indicator in statusbar.
